The Process Of Creating Your New Website
Website creation is a fairly straightforward process, however before we create your website, we encourage you to read all the information below. This is so you are aware of all aspects of the website creation service that we provide and what the process of creating your new website involves.
A custom website is designed to reflect your own concept of the appearance of your website. If you are short of ideas, we are pretty good at INTUITIVE website design too. Either way, the end result is a fabulous website!
Before your website goes live on the web, you can request unlimited design revisions until you are completely satisfied with the appearance of your website. Your website will ONLY go live on the web following your approval of the design and when all design work has been completed.
At Website Creation, we DO NOT offer a FREE Domain Name with any of our website packages, as unlike many website designers we prefer YOU to register your own Domain Name at a Registrar of your choice and maintain full control of it.
Registering a Domain Name is the first step in the creation of your website and it is a simple process that we are happy to help you upon your request.

Standard hosting is provided for your website FREE for the FIRST 6 MONTHS on our FAST, RELIABLE and SECURE VPS server. At the end of the FREE 6 MONTH term, a hosting fee of £10.95 a month is payable thereafter.
Our Standard Hosting provides bandwidth and disk space that is more than sufficient for your new website. To support the growth and popularity of your website, there are further hosting options available. You will be able to purchase additional bandwidth and/or disk space if it is ever required, or upgrade completely to a new hosting plan. In that event, a new hosting fee will be applicable.
As an owner of a website that has cookies, collects data through the use of forms, has customer accounts, and/or accepts payments, you have an obligation to ensure that your website is GDPR compliant for any EU citizen visiting your website.
While you will need to provide the privacy policy text for your privacy policy page on your new website that complies with the regulations, your new website comes with plugins that assist in the process of making a website GDPR compliant.
Through the use of plugins, your website will be set up to include the following GDPR compliancy:-
1. A notice that informs your website visitors upon their initial visit that there are cookies on your website. The notice gives the option for your visitors to accept or decline the cookies.
2. A list of cookies is generated and displayed on the Cookie Notice page. This informs your website visitors of all the cookies that exist on your website.
3. The forms we produce on all websites that we create request privacy policy and data usage consent from the person completing the form. Once the form is submitted, the consent/acceptance is automatically logged, time stamped and saved to your website database.
As your custom Brochure Website or Web Shop grows, you may need more web pages for your content or require other functionalities such as a Photo Gallery, Web Blog, Product Reviews or Help Desk.
If you require additional web pages, there is a charge of £85 for each new web page that we create.

The custom Brochure Website is created on the platform of WordPress. It is ideal for any Business, Personal or Hobbyist project where the requirement is to display informational or promotional content.
With a RESPONSIVE layout, your website adapts to the screen size of both a desktop computer and mobile hand held device.
With the features and functionality of WordPress at the core of your website, you have the flexibility to grow and evolve your website effectively over time to suit your requirements.
Every website that we create has the functionality of a Content Management System that enables you to MANAGE and UPDATE the content on your own website as often as you like from your website Admin panel.
Alternatively, if you can’t or don’t want to manage your own website, you may wish to use our Content Management Service, whereby you can request our assistance at any time. Please be aware that there is a charge for this service at a rate of £16 per hour and the service does not include making changes to the actual design of your website.
Your new website will be issued a FREE Let’s Encrypt SSL Certificate. This is a basic SSL certificate that does not provide any warranty or site logo. You can request to upgrade at any time and purchase an SSL certificate with warranty and site logo but also expect to pay a renewal charge every year. Prices vary and so we will seek out the cheapest deal at the time of any request. Additional fees are not added to the renewal cost and so you will only pay what the actual certificate costs per year.
Any website that asks for any personal information must have an SSL certificate. It also enhances the search engine ranking of your website. An SSL – Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate secures your website and gains the trust of your website visitors. Your website visitors are more likely to send information via forms and make purchases through a website when a padlock is displayed in the address bar. Google gives priority to sites with SSL in their search engine results. An SSL is also important in respect of GDPR compliance, whereby you have a legal obligation to protect any User data that is transferred and stored on your website. HTTPS encrypts data in transit and therefore provides data protection
Our basic search engine optimization will usually get your website a free listing in various search engines, including Google, Bing, and Yahoo. There is no guarantee however.
With research and assessment of your text content, your Home page and other main content pages will be optimized using the most appropriate keywords. It helps to make your text content search engine friendly, and we are happy to give you guidelines on how to write it. We do offer a Copywriting service too, whereby we will rewrite all your text content to include all the keywords and phrases necessary to make your web pages as search engine friendly as can be.

Bandwidth is your allocated traffic allowance: 1GB of bandwidth will allow an estimated 3-4000 visitors per month to your website.
Our Standard Hosting plan is provided for the hosting of each new website, and this allows a maximum of 3GB bandwidth usage per month.
If traffic on your website begins to exceed 80% of the monthly bandwidth allowance, you will be asked to upgrade your monthly bandwidth allowance. Each additional 1GB of bandwidth will be charged at the rate of £2.50 per month.
When you want to give your Customers the ultimate online shopping experience, look no further than having a web shop powered by either WooCommerce on the platform of WordPress, or the standalone system of OpenCart.
With WooCommerce or OpenCart at the helm of your web shop, these professional cart systems have the features and functionality that enables you to sell your products and manage your web shop easily, efficiently and effectively.
With a RESPONSIVE layout, your web shop adapts to the screen size of both a desktop computer and mobile hand held device.
With the ability to sell an UNLIMITED number of products, you can offer your Customers a variety and choice of products right from the start, and of course, if you just want to sell a few products initially with the intention of adding further products later, you can do that too!
Your web shop comes with Admin Access and you can manage and update your own web shop content and products whenever you need to, 24/7.
If however you can’t or don’t want to manage your own web shop content and products, you may wish to use our Web Shop Content Management Service, whereby we can update text content and edit/load/delete products for you.
Please be aware that there is a charge for this service at a rate of £16 per hour and the service does not include making changes to the actual design of your web shop.
Your website comes complete with FREE email accounts at email addresses of your choice, ie:- youdecide@yourdomain.com.

Each email account is FREE to use for the life of your website and is easily accessible 24/7 via any web browser worldwide.
It is proven that the Social Media can help your Business grow beyond your wildest dreams.
When a website is linked to Social Media accounts, it effectively enhances the popularity of the website and the future prospects of a Business. Your new website can be linked to your Facebook, Twitter, or Google Plus accounts, if required.
Your new website is allocated disk space for storing all files associated with your website. The Standard Hosting plan allows a maximum of 100MB storage space for your new website. For every 1MB of storage space, around 51 image files of 20kb file size can be stored on the system. The allocated storage space is usually more than sufficient for most Brochure websites and small-medium size Web Shops. If you have a Web Shop, and continually increase the number of products in your shop, you may eventually require more storage space and need to request an upgrade. An additional 1GB of storage space will be charged at the rate of £2.20 per month.

Email Correspondence Only
We devote all of our working time to the creation and management of our website projects and services. Because this leaves us with little time to take phone calls, ALL correspondence is by EMAIL only.
We find that many of our Clients find it easier to communicate their website design preferences and requirements by Email. It also enables us to get our work done without interruption throughout the day.
Website Project Acceptance
Once you have requested a custom Brochure Website or Web Shop package, we will let you know within 48 hours if your project has been accepted. You will normally be offered a start date within 2-8 weeks from the time that you have requested the package. We will only decline your project, if we are unable to offer you a start date within the next 8 weeks.
Prior to the start date, you must send all of your content, such as images and text to us as soon as possible. If we have not received your content by the start date, your project will be rescheduled to commence at a later date.
Website Creation
Of course, we would like to say just a few days, however, realistically, the time it takes will truly will depend on the earliest start date that we can offer you and the size of your new website.
As soon as we accept your project, you will be given a scheduled start date. The date you are given will take into account the number of other website projects that we have scheduled ahead of yours, and the size and type of your new website. All projects are scheduled on a first come, first served basis.
Once we start your project, our aim is to have your new website live on the web within 7 – 35 days.
As they say ‘Good things come to those who wait’, and that includes your new website! 🙂
Payment Information
DEPOSIT PAYMENT
Once a start date for your new website project has been agreed, you will be invoiced for the initial 50% deposit payment which must be paid within 48 hours. The start date is only reserved upon receipt of the deposit payment. If the deposit isn’t received in time and we haven’t received any further communication from you, the start date will be made available to another Client.
BALANCE PAYMENT
When your website is ready to go live, you will be invoiced for the remaining 50% balance payment. Your website will be made live on the web within 24 hours of the balance payment being received.
DEPOSIT REFUND UPON CANCELLATION
Should you decide to cancel before the start of your project and after you have made the deposit, the following conditions apply. The deposit payment is fully refundable if you cancel giving at least 7 days notice prior to the scheduled start date. If however you cancel on the 6th day or less before the scheduled start date or after the project has been started, the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.
FREE Technical Support
Technical support is provided FREE for the life of your website when hosted on our server. You can request technical support at any time by submitting a support ticket through our Client Portal.
We will respond to any support request within our business hours of 10am – 7pm (GMT) and will endeavour to resolve any technical issue as quickly as possible.
Technical support is available for any server issues and system glitches that may rarely be encountered.

File Back-Up
Website files are backed up every week as a precautionary measure in the event of system failure or other uncontrollable forces that result in loss of website data. Please see our Terms of Service for more information.
Adult, Gambling and Gaming Websites
We are unable to host any website or web shop that contains Live Adult Material Content or Products, Gambling or Gaming content on our servers. Please see our Terms of Service for more information.
