Our website creation guide briefly describes the process of having a new brochure website or web shop created by us. We aim to make the creation process as straight-forward as possible, and this guide will help you know what to expect.
How We Work With You
No Lengthy Telephone Consultations
We are a very small team doing what we love to do and rarely outsource the work we take on. We devote all of our working time to the creation of our website projects and management of the services we provide. This leaves us with very little time for telephone consultations, so ALL correspondence is by EMAIL and through our ticket support system.
To gather the information we need to create your website, you will be asked to complete a website design form. This will provide us with plenty of detailed information about your website requirements. You may be asked further questions during the process of creating your new website. When we need to collect your content material for your website project, you’ll be able to transfer all of your content through our own secure file transfer system. You will be able to access our system through your Website Creation account dashboard.
Brochure Website Value Package
The Brochure Website from the Value range is created on the platform of WordPress. With a RESPONSIVE layout, the brochure website is designed to adapt to the screen size of a desktop computer, tablet and mobile hand held devices.
The website has a pre-styled layout design and there are 4 designs to choose from. The pre-styled layout designs can be seen on the 4 Demo websites. The links to the Demo websites can be found on the Brochure Website Value Packages page.
The Brochure Website is ideal for any Personal / Hobbyist or Business project where the initial or main requirement is to display informational or promotional content. With the functionality of WordPress at the core of your website, you have the flexibility to grow and evolve your website effectively over time to suit your requirements. A range of Add-Ons are available at additional cost. You can also request additional features and functionality, and so in effect, if you decide to expand your website to accommodate a new aspect of your business, anything is possible!

Your website will ONLY go live on the web following your approval of the design and when all design work has been completed.

Providing Design Information
After we have received your request for a Brochure Website or Web Shop package, you will be asked to complete a Website Design form to provide information such as:-
Personal Details
Name, Company/Business Name, Address, and Email Address
Domain Name
You will need to tell us the Domain Name for your website. If you don’t already own a Domain Name, you will need to find a Domain Name registrar to purchase one as we don’t provide a Domain Name with any of our packages. While there are many Domain Name registrars that can be found via a search engine, we recommend www.namecheap.com.
Purpose of Website
To help us understand your goals and to enable us to create a website specifically for the purpose intended, you will be asked about the purpose of your website and what you hope to achieve.
Website Design Information
To help us create your new website, we will need to know your preferences in relation to the colour scheme, font types and other design attributes. If you choose a Custom package, your website will be created to your specific requirements which you will be able to tell us about on the form.
To ensure we gain a good sense of your style and preferences prior to creating your website, you will need to provide 3 URL’s of websites that appeal to you and tell us what it is that you specifically like about those websites. (Please be aware that your website design will be unique and cannot be the same as any of the websites that you show us)
The information that you provide on our website design form will represent your ideas and vision of your new website.
The Website Creation Process
What happens after we have accepted your website project?
As soon as we have received the website design form, and accept your website creation project, you will be offered a scheduled start date. If you agree to the start date that is offered, we will generate an invoice to request the deposit payment as shown on site for your website package. Payments are accepted via bank transfer only. Full details of how to make payment will be sent to you by email.
Prior to your scheduled start date, you must send us the content for your website. Content includes your company/website logo (if you have one), text for web pages and images. You may also send your own website design drawings or images if you have any (if you don’t already have a logo, we can create one for you. If you need images, we can refer you to a stock library on the web). Your website content material can be sent to us via our secure file transfer system.
If you have selected a Web Shop package, we will require images of your products, product descriptions, and prices. We will also require your PayPal email address to set up PayPal payment processing on your website.
When we set to work on your project, firstly, we create a mock design on one web page. Once completed, the design will be shown to you for your approval, and at that stage, you can keep requesting changes until you are completely happy with it. Please note that the pre-styled layout design of any Brochure or Web Shop Value package cannot be changed but the colour scheme and other attributes can be. Once you have approved the design, we then continue to build the site. If you choose a custom package for your new website, we will consult with you about the design for every web page.
The Creation Of Your Webmail Account(s)
All of our packages include FREE webmail account(s). Please refer to the package you choose to see how many webmail account(s) will be allocated to you. Your webmail account(s) will be created within 72 hours after your scheduled start date. You will need to provide the usernames @yourdomain for your account(s). You will be notified as soon as the set up of account(s) has been completed and will be able to use them immediately.
Going Live On The Web
We aim to have your website up and running live on the web within 7-42 working days (actual time will depend on the size of your website) from your scheduled start date.
When you are happy with your website and it is ready to go live, you will be billed for the balance payment. Once we have received your payment, your website will be made live soon after.
You will be given access to your site dashboard and provided with instructions to enable you to maintain and update your own website as and when you need to.
